01/11/2012 – 04/11/2012 PREPARATORY MEETING OF PARTNERS (Veliko Turnovo, BG)
The meeting included a representative of each project partner, 4 participants from PRSF & EIC, all together total of 20. The agenda of the meeting included getting to know each other; introduction and presentation of the project aims and main tasks to be reached; possible EC actions; plan detailed program of 8th International Meeting of Europe Clubs in Warsaw and divide responsibilities of participants during it.
01/12/2012 - 30/04/2013 SERIES OF EVENTS ENCOURAGING LOCAL CITIZENS TO BECOME MORE ACTIVE THROUGH CIVIC PARTICIPATION, VOLUNTEERING AND ENGAGING IN INTERGENERATIONAL DIALOGUE:
Each EC participating in the 8th International Meeting will prepare an activity or event in their school with an impact in the whole local community. The kind of activity will be chosen by EC members themselves. They will for example volunteer in local home for elderly citizens, prepare a campaign to raise the frequency in elections to European Parliament, organize a cleaning action or carry out interviews with senior citizens about their youth and publish them in school newspaper.
08/05/2013 – 12/05/2013 8TH INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF EUROPEAN CLUBS (Warsaw, PL)
A hundred participants from all partner countries prepare integral part of the Meeting – present results of their own actions. They will work together with peers/colleagues from different EU Member States, plan & carry out activities promoting active citizenship amongst thousands of Varsovians and other EC members from Poland. Ideas gathered in Warsaw will provide experience and ideas for participants' work in the future, be it in local context or in international cooperation.
